Pig Breeding

Kølhede produces approximately 60,000 pigs annually, which are sold at 30 kg. Read about the work in the gestation unit, farrowing unit, and weaner unit, where well-being and specialization are the focus.

Field Crops

Kølhede cultivates 600 hectares of land annually. Nearly 10,000 tons of potatoes for Danish potato starch are grown on 195 hectares. The remaining land is used to grow wheat and barley for feed. Read more about the production here.
